This website is operated by Makspeed Academy in Kuwait. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, book a course or register for an event, and what we do with it.

2. What we collect

Contact details: name, email address and phone number.
Booking details: date of birth, nationality, driving licence number (if you give it), experience level and an emergency contact.
Waiver: your electronic signature and the time you signed it.
Payment information: the amount, status and reference of your payment. Card payments are handled by Tap Payments; we do not see or store your card number.
Account data: your email and an encrypted password if you create an account.
Messages: what you send us in an inquiry or a form.
Technical data: basic information such as your browser and IP address, used for security.

3. Why we use it

To manage your booking or registration, confirm it and contact you about it.
To process payments and refunds.
To keep our classes safe (waiver, emergency contact).
To answer your inquiries and give you support.
To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
To meet legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with:

Tap Payments (payment processing).
Our email and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf.
Our instructors and staff, who see the details they need to run your class.
Authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work (for example to keep you signed in and remember your language). We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking, payment and waiver records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted staff access and secure hosting. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop contacting you, by writing to us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Our courses are for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown on this page.
